Banana Smoothie Recipe

Smoothies are not only a quick and easy way of taking care of those hunger pangs, but are also healthy and delicious. I usually have one mid afternoon when it’s too hot for that cup of tea or coffee. Posting a Banana Smoothie today.

Ingredients :

  • 4 elaichi /small variety Bananas
  • 1 litre thick curd/Yoghurt
  • 3 tbsps honey
  • Sugar as required / I use Sugar free
  • A few ice cubes

Method :

Chop the Bananas into tiny pieces and blend them along with sugar, curds, honey and a few ice cubes. Serve with sliced Banana.

Lychee Milkshake Recipe

Milkshake made of luscious Lychees topped with some Lychee ice cream is divine!!! A few teaspoons of Lychee syrup too could be added instead of adding sugar.

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml cold milk
  • 10 Lychees
  • 2 tsps Lychee syrup
  • A scoop of Lychee icecream

Method :

Deskin the Lychees. Remove the seed. Puree the Lychees along with the milk and lychee syrup in a blender. Pour it into a tall glass. Add a scoop of Lychee icecream and serve immediately.

Banana Milkshake Recipe

Milkshakes are a harried mother’s quick fix and when it is a Banana Milkshake it acts as a filler till the meal is ready.

Ingredients :

  • 250 ml cold milk
  • 2 elaichi bananas
  • A scoop of vanilla icecream
  • 1tsp sugar

Method :

Peel the bananas, slice them and puree them with milk and sugar in a blender. Pour into a tall glass. Top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and serve immediately.

Strawberry Milkshake Recipe

When strawberries are in season it is milkshake, ice cream, smoothie or even juice. Here is a cool cool milkshake.

Ingredients:

  • 300ml cold milk
  • 6 strawberries
  • A scoop of strawberry icecream
  • Strawberry syrup

Method :

Crush the strawberries in a blender. Add the milk and blend them well. Pour it into a tall glass, add the Strawberry ice cream and drizzle strawberry syrup as required.

Oreo Milkshake Recipe

An all time favourite with children, the Oreo milkshake is an instant tummy filler and great energizer.

Ingredients :

  • 250 ml cold milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla icecream
  • 3 Oreo biscuits
  • 1tsp sugar
  • Chocolate syrup

Method :

Powder the Oreo biscuits and blend them with the milk and sugar in a blender. Add the dollop of vanilla ice cream, drizzle the chocolate syrup as per requirement and enjoy it chilled.

Falooda Recipe


Falooda is an instant tummy filler as it has sevai, dry fruits and milk topped with icecream. Posting a strawberry falooda dear friends.

Ingredients:

  • 1.25 Litres milk
  • 1 pack Rex Strawberry jelly
  • Juiceof one lemon
  • 1 pack Moments falooda mix
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Strawberry syrup
  • Dried fruits for garnish

Method:
Add the falooda mix to the pre boiled milk and boil for about 10 mnts till it becomes a little thick. Cool and refrigerate.
Make the jelly according to the instructions on the pack. I add juice of one lemon for added tang. Refrigerate to set it.
In a tall glass tip in the jelly, falooda a scoop of ice cream and garnish with dried fruits and strawberry syrup. Serve chilled.
